An Open Letter to Our Customers, HCPs and Business Partners

 

I hope everyone has been well.

 

On behalf of the Chiesi China team, we would first like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your collaboration and trust in the past three months as we, like all parties in China, responded and navigated the fast-evolving situations. Today, I am pleased to share that after weeks of maintaining our business and services virtually under the smart-working environment with full support from the staff, that the office premises across China are resuming back to operations, and that our medical representatives are also recommencing their active duty support to partners, healthcare professionals and patients. Safety and well-being of our employees, as well as our partners, care givers and patients, are always at the core of our company philosophy, and therefore we will continue to exercise utmost measures to ensure that all business practices are conducted with all necessary health and safety precautions.

 

At the same, we thought you might be interested to learn how our supply and production are, in view of the recent measures taken by the Italian government in response to the continuing COVID-19 situations. With that, we want to reassure you that the production of all Chiesi medicines continues without interruption at our sites in Italy and abroad, that we are working with all suppliers and distributors to ensure the continued supply of all of our products and that at this time, we do not foresee any delays or disruptions. In fact, across a number of markets where we have in-market presence, Chiesi has been proactively donating our products to support the local healthcare communities to treat patients in need.

 

As a member of the communities here in China, we are dedicated to supporting our employees, healthcare professionals and partners, alongside the caring of patients and citizens at-large. And our teams will continue to liaise and update our business partners and HCPs whom we work with on the latest measures and developments. You are also most welcomed to approach us if there is anything we can do to support you or address your enquiry.
